The DPC-Controller is the central control and monitoring module of a BACring system and forms the core of the entire installation. It communicates with up to four DPB-Buscontrollers via the DPC‑IO coupling module and monitors and controls all states and functions of all connected modules across up to four ring bus segments. Via the I/O module, the DPC-Controller links the individual ring bus segments into a single logical system. Data exchange between the ring bus segments is managed centrally by the DPC-Controller, ensuring a consistent and coordinated system operation. Communication with external systems is carried out via BACnet or Modbus/TCP. The BACring system is BTL-certified.* The DPC-Controller is available both as a standalone version and as a redundant system (primary/secondary).

The DPC-Controller provides a fully browser-based user interface. Through this interface, the entire system can be configured, monitored, parameterized, and diagnosed. All commissioning, operation, and service functions can be performed directly via a web browser, without the need for additional software.
