BACring DPM-I2O2 Fieldbus Module
Description
The DPM-I2O2 fieldbus module is preferably used in the field when the status of ventilation systems needs to be monitored and shutdown functions are to be implemented. For this purpose, two potential-free switching outputs (5 A relays) as well as two digital inputs are available, allowing other switching scenarios to be implemented flexibly. Communication with the BACring DPB-Buscontroller is carried out via the BACring bus protocol. Thanks to its spring-loaded terminals, the module is completely maintenance-free and enables fast and secure wiring.
For applications with increased requirements regarding functional integrity, the DPM-I2O2 fieldbus module can be integrated into the DPH-Fire Safety-E90 enclosure. In combination with the DPH-Fire Safety-E90 enclosure, the DPM-I2O2 fieldbus module fulfills the requirements of DIN EN 1363-1:2020-05 for functional integrity in accordance with Section 5.3.1 of MLAR 2005 and thus achieves the required functional integrity of at least 90 minutes.
