BACring DPM-I4 Fieldbus Module
Description
The DPM-I4 fieldbus module is used for acquiring up to four potential-free contacts and is particularly suitable for connecting limit switches of thermal fire dampers. In addition, other potential-free signaling contacts can be integrated, such as fire detectors, smoke detectors, as well as feedback signals from doors, gates, or other safety‑relevant devices. All recorded events are reliably transmitted to the DPB-Buscontroller via the BACring bus protocol. Thanks to its spring-loaded terminals, the module is completely maintenance-free and enables fast and secure wiring.
For applications with increased requirements regarding functional integrity, the DPM-I4 fieldbus module can be integrated into the DPH-Fire Safety-E90 enclosure. In combination with the DPH-Fire Safety-E90 enclosure, the DPM-I4 fieldbus module fulfills the requirements of DIN EN 1363-1:2020-05 for functional integrity in accordance with Section 5.3.1 of MLAR 2005 and thus achieves the required functional integrity of at least 90 minutes.
