BACring DPM-M1E Fieldbus Module
Description
The DPM-M1E fieldbus module is used for controlling and evaluating the end positions of motorized fire protection and smoke extraction dampers. Communication with the BACring DPB-Buscontroller is carried out via the BACring bus protocol. In addition to the bistable relay output, the two digital inputs are used to transmit feedback signals indicating the damper end positions. Furthermore, motor current monitoring is performed. The result is returned as a logical value on bit position I3. Thanks to its spring-loaded terminals, the module is completely maintenance-free and enables fast and secure wiring.
For applications with increased requirements regarding functional integrity, the DPM-M1E fieldbus module can be integrated into the DPH-Fire Safety-E90 enclosure. In combination with the DPH-Fire Safety-E90 enclosure, the DPM-M1E fieldbus module fulfills the requirements of DIN EN 1363-1:2020-05 for functional integrity in accordance with Section 5.3.1 of MLAR 2005 and thus achieves the required functional integrity of at least 90 minutes.
