BACring DPM-M2 Fieldbus Module
Description
The DPM-M2 fieldbus module is used when the control and end-position evaluation of two motorized fire protection and smoke extraction dampers are to be implemented within a BACring-System. For this purpose, two bistable relay outputs are available for controlling the damper actuators, as well as four digital inputs for acquiring the respective end position switches. Communication with the BACring DPB-Buscontroller is carried out via the BACring bus protocol. Thanks to its spring-loaded terminals, the module is completely maintenance-free and enables fast and secure wiring.
For applications with increased requirements regarding functional integrity, the DPM-M2 fieldbus module can be integrated into the DPH-Fire Safety-E90 enclosure. In combination with the DPH-Fire Safety-E90 enclosure, the DPM-M2 fieldbus module fulfills the requirements of DIN EN 1363-1:2020-05 for functional integrity in accordance with Section 5.3.1 of MLAR 2005 and thus achieves the required functional integrity of at least 90 minutes.
